It's in the papers daily, and there's been a lot of discussion on what is means for Governments, for financial institutions, for the entire financial system, and for the man-on-the-street.<br /><br />As a result of the crisis and other far-reaching problems, the global economy is experiencing a slow but certain entry into recession. Singapore is currently in a technical recession. What does it mean for Singapore? How will it affect the Indian Muslim community in Singapore?<br /><br />Masjid Al Amin, in partnership with <a href="http://www.skml.net/">SKML</a> and supported <a href="http://www.moneysense.gov.sg/">MoneySense</a>, are organising a special talk on the financial crisis and what we as a community can do in the coming tough times. There will be a sharing by a financial markets professional on the cause and repercussion of the crisis, sharing by a MoneySense speaker on the ways to spend and save better during crunch times, and there will be a talk by Moulana Moulavi M.
